  Jehovah's Witnesses are an Old Testament Religion

  there's no doubt about it.. i did an experiment last year, at the conventions, assemblies and meetings to determine how often the symbol of christianity, jesus christ, is actually mentioned, talked about and discussed.

  with the exception of the memorial, and even that was more on the wine and bread than on christ himself, there are no talks devoted soley to jesus christ and the work he did.

  watchtower will make vague references to christ to back up there claims, such as matt 24:14, "this good news..." and "go therefore and make disciples...".

  I learned something exciting from Mike Satterlee. The parts in the bible where Paul says women should be silent and wear a headcovering and that men were the head of them, Paul was actually stating these misconceptions and after correcting them...read the context and you will be surprized.

  I Cor. 11 and 1 Cor. 14:33 - 36 in particular..

  I wanted to ask you if you have ever studied about the "peg of Shebna"? The bible talks about 2 pegs. The first one, Shebna was the "stewart over the household of God". Is. 22:16 says that this peg; on a height had hewed out for itself his burial place in a crag he is cutting out a residence for himself. He apparently became haughty. Then it says Jehovah will violently hurl him down and push him away from his position. Then Eliakim will recieve the key of the house of David upon his shoulder, and he well be driven into a lasting place and will be the glory of his father. Interestingly Shebna...is still allowed to be a secretary as in Is. 36:3. I am thinking Shebna is the WT and got hurled down maybe when Rutherford took over and then possibly became like a secretary. But soon Jesus (Eliakim) take over and recieve the throne. What do you think??

  i'm d/f for about 2 years and my dad ( an elder ) hasn't spoke with me since, my mom sometimes talk to me , but i always have to call her , just to see how's she's doing, and guess what, when she answer her phone is : oh, i was preeching!!!.

  they're always preeching, but my brother contact me today telling me that we can speak again due to the fact that i'm d/f , what do you guys think?

  Definately brainwashed to believe they alone hold the key to eternal life and they have to ONLY key to life. I believed it for 26 years..so their successive order of logic is so brainwashing that people would die for it...YES DEFINATLY>>>>>

  a verse constantly plucked from context by witnesses is john 10:16. they use it to prove that there are two classes of christian.. and i have other sheep i have other sheep, which are not of this fold: those also i must bring and they will listen to my voice, and they will become one flock, one shepherd.. the this fold say witnesses are anointed christians and the other sheep are christians with an earthly hope.. read the text carefully and in context, and i challenge anyone to be able to prove that.. in chapter 9 jesus heals a man born blind.

  this infuriates the pharisees who then attack the healed man and threaten him with being expelled from the synagogue.

  the man will not recant and is thrown out.. jesus finds him and asks him to be his follower.

  Well, here's my 2 cents...I think the "other sheep which are not of this fold" are the people who are not Christians in the right sense or not even Christians at all, (buddists, atheists, zen taoists, etc.) but have the pure heart and the right attitude toward the new world. While I think the sheep he is talking to, are the Christians, jew or gentile.

  The JW's are in for a major shock when they find out @ the end that the brothers of Christ are not of their organization..but of "every tribe nation and tongue". They will have to all be recessitated. They are so sure of themselves. I was in there for 26 years..so I know. I felt I was annointed 5 years ago, they all about laughed in my face. Even 2 elders at 2 separate times said I wasn't. I wasn't old or enough of a conformist for them in my dress, etc. I will like to see the look on some of their faces when they find out who the brothers of Christ are!!! What a hoot that will be!!!!
